2024 ESG Report Highlights
Throughout our 15 years of business, we’ve collected over 50 million phones. But what exactly does this mean for our planet? Let’s dive into some of the highlights of our 2024 ESP report.
New Milestone: Over 50 Million Devices Collected
We hit a major milestone in 2024 – over 50 million devices have been collected at our kiosks. What does this look like in terms of environmental improvement?
- 50 million devices is the weight equivalent over 25 million pounds of e-waste.
- This has also prevented thousands of toxic materials like arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury from leaking into our land and water.
- This is also the equivalent of removing 2 million metric tons of CO2 (carbon emissions).
- 50 million devices collected is the equivalent of saving 20 billion gallons of water.
Over $1.56 Billion Paid Out to Customers
We’ve paid out over $1.56 billion to our smart recyclers! This is a 24% increase from 2023.
